Vauxhall are the latest manufacturer to step onto the environmental battlefield with their latest ecoFLEX campaign. To enhance their 'green' credentials and to raise awareness of the ecoFLEX range, Vauxhall are embarking on a mission to find the greenest drivers in Europe. The green drivers challenge looks to include an online element with the top performers going through to offline/ on-road part of the test.

It will be interesting to see what the challenges are and how they are documented (obvious social potential).

Two other successful green campaigns that spring to mind are Toyota IQ - hypermiling 500 miles on one tank of petrol and Fiat Eco:drive - an in-car app that uploads your green driving performance to a USB stick.
